We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Chef Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation.

As a Chef Manager you’ll:

  • Manage the day-to-day catering and vending operation, ensuring excellent food quality and customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Plan, prepare, and present meals to company and client standards, ensuring service is delivered efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensure all dietary requirements and allergen procedures are followed correctly and safely.
  • Lead, support, and motivate catering staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Monitor financial performance, including stock control, purchasing, payroll, and weekly trading reports to achieve budget and profit targets.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety, ensuring all due diligence records are completed accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety standards, health & safety regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Organise and support hospitality catering and special events when required.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients, customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Support wider site operations by assisting management and covering operational requirements when needed.
  • Protect company assets, stock, equipment, and cash handling processes through effective security and control measures.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong catering management experience with the ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergen management, and compliance procedures.
  • Good financial awareness, including budgeting, stock management, payroll, and cost control.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and support staff.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high service standards.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Good organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy and confidence completing reports, payroll, and administrative tasks.
  • A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to use initiative and solve problems effectively.
