What You'll Do:
- Organise, support, and deliver high-quality meal preparation and presentation across all sites, ensuring service standards are consistently met.
- Deputise for the Head Chef when required, maintaining smooth kitchen operations in their absence.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely with full consideration of dietary requirements and allergens.
- Lead compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations, including completion of relevant risk assessments and checks.
- Manage key kitchen operations including menu planning, rotas, ordering, deliveries, stock control, and inventory management.
- Monitor site performance continuously, ensuring efficient service delivery within budget and in line with contract requirements.
What You Bring:
- Food Safety Level 2 (minimum requirement) with allergy awareness training.
- Strong knife skills and solid knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Proactive, flexible approach to duties and working hours.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills with ability to prioritise effectively.
- Able to work independently with strong communication and customer service skills, including customer relationship management experience.
- IT and systems literate, with experience supporting reporting, quality assurance, and monitoring data; experience in delivering financial targets is desirable.
