In this independent, lone‑working role, you’ll prepare and serve nutritious, high‑quality meals for residents and staff in an Approved Premises, helping to create a safe and welcoming environment.
This position requires you to work Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 2:00pm, with a rate of £12.91 per hour.
Ages 18 or over and able to provide valid photographic identification are required.

What you’ll do
- Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious, high‑quality meals for residents and staff, following planned menus.
- Take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen, managing your workload independently and ensuring meals are prepared and served on time.
- Maintain exceptional standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness across the kitchen and dining areas.
- Monitor and replenish kitchen stock, ensuring ingredients, equipment and cleaning supplies are always available.
- Build positive working relationships with on‑site colleagues, communicating effectively to ensure the smooth running of the service.
- Follow all health, safety and food hygiene procedures, working confidently and responsibly in a lone‑working environment.
