We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Team Leader to join our team in Teesside. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing day-to-day facilities operations and leading a team of operatives to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for our client. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high standards are consistently met across both internal and external areas of the site. From overseeing helpdesk requests and managing waste, to supporting stores and warehouse services, your focus will be on delivering excellent service with minimal disruption to the customer.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, support and motivate a team of facilities operatives
  • Manage and delegate helpdesk requests, ensuring timely completion
  • Carry out daily, weekly and monthly site audits
  • Run morning team huddles and promote safety awareness
  • Maintain HSEQ standards and support training delivery
  • Oversee waste collection and segregation
  • Support office moves, parcel deliveries, and forklift offloading
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of both indoor and outdoor spaces
  • Represent Sodexo professionally and adhere to client site standards

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong background in customer service and facilities operations
  • Experience leading or supervising teams in a similar environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (SAP experience desirable)
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks
