Engineering or Facilities Management qualification (NVQ Level 4 or above), or equivalent professional experience. BTEC Level 3 in Security (or equivalent qualification). We are now seeking a Security Infrastructure Manager to join our team supporting a multi-site client estate across Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced security or facilities professional to lead the management of security infrastructure, ensuring statutory compliance, operational resilience, and the delivery of high-quality maintenance services across a complex estate.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the management and maintenance of security infrastructure across a multi-site estate.
- Develop, maintain and review Security Strategy Documents (SSD) and the i2020 Business Continuity Plan.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual and operational security requirements.
- Manage security clearances, security communications and contractor compliance.
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, remedial works and small security projects.
- Monitor contractor performance through inspections, audits and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain accurate security asset records using CAFM and asset management systems.
- Produce monthly and annual security reports and lead service review meetings with the client.
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise on security infrastructure.
- Support investment planning, continuous improvement and the development of security standards.
- Mentor colleagues and promote best practice across the wider facilities and compliance teams.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
What you bring:
- Engineering or Facilities Management qualification (NVQ Level 4 or above) or equivalent professional experience.
- BTEC Level 3 in Security (or equivalent).
- Professional membership of a relevant industry body is desirable.
- Over five years’ experience delivering specialist facilities maintenance within a complex environment.
- Strong understanding of security infrastructure, statutory compliance and risk management.
- Experience managing contractors, maintenance programmes and supply chain performance.
- Working knowledge of CAFM, CMMS, asset management and compliance systems.
- Experience producing audits, reports and managing contractual KPIs.
- Knowledge of NEC4 contracts and health & safety legislation.
- Excellent planning, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to solve technical problems, prioritise workloads and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
