Job Introduction: We are now seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team supporting a diverse and complex property estate across multiple sites.
What you'll do:
- Support the delivery of high-quality cost management, commercial governance, and quantity surveying services across a large, multi-site estate.
- Assist with cost planning, estimates, valuations, financial reporting, and budget monitoring for capital projects, lifecycle works, planned maintenance, and reactive repairs.
- Support the preparation of tender documentation, pricing schedules, and tender evaluations.
- Maintain accurate commercial records, forecasts, and reporting data to ensure compliance with governance and audit requirements.
- Assist with contract administration activities and supplier performance monitoring.
- Contribute to risk management, commercial assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build positive relationships with operational teams, suppliers, consultants, and stakeholders while developing your professional and technical expertise.
Qualifications & Education:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline (essential).
- Working towards, or intending to work towards, MRICS Chartership (desirable).
- Basic awareness of NEC4 contracts and a willingness to further develop your knowledge.
Experience:
- Experience gained through placements, internships, industrial year placements, or an early-career role within construction, property, infrastructure, or Facilities Management (desirable).
- Exposure to NEC3 or NEC4 contracts through study or workplace experience (desirable).
