Architect - Belfast 40 hours per week Monday - Friday (08:00-17:00) Competitive Salary bonus Sodexo rewards and benefits Job Introduction We are looking for a talented and motivated Architect to join our team and support the delivery of strategic estate planning and architectural projects across a large and complex estate in Northern Ireland.

Reporting to the Senior Architect/Manager, you will contribute to the development of estate strategies, site masterplans, feasibility studies and project blueprints, working alongside in house architectural professionals and external design teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for an architect looking to develop their career while working on a diverse portfolio of projects from concept through to delivery.

What you'll do: Support the development of the client's Estate Strategy and site masterplans.

Undertake Functional Suitability assessments, using this information to inform estate planning.

Prepare feasibility studies, viability assessments and presentation materials.

Produce architectural drawings, reports and supporting documentation.

Contribute to the development of area plans and local masterplans.

Assist with the preparation of project blueprints and project dossiers.

Support the development and updating of design guidance documentation.

Work collaboratively with internal teams, clients and external Integrated Design Teams.

Ensure all work complies with statutory legislation, planning requirements, the RIBA Plan of Work and the Sodexo Project Management Framework.

Assess building and site utilisation to support estate planning decisions.

What you bring: Essential Degree and Postgraduate qualification (Diploma or MSc) in Architecture.

Current registration with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).

A minimum of 3 years' post qualification experience .

Working knowledge of Northern Ireland Planning Regulations and processes.

Working knowledge of Northern Ireland Building Regulations and processes.

An understanding of estate strategy and site master planning principles.

Experience preparing architectural drawings, reports and presentations.

Proficiency in architectural software including Revit (preferred), Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Adobe In Design and Photoshop, or equivalent.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland.

Please note: Successful candidates must have lived continuously in the UK for the past five years and m ust be willing and able to undergo the required security clearance and vetting process.
