Job Introduction

At Sodexo Live!, we create exceptional moments at some of the world’s most iconic venues and there are few more prestigious than Ascot Racecourse. We are looking for an organised, hands-on, and driven Hospitality & Boxes Cellar Supervisor to join our Beverage Department and play a key role in delivering unforgettable hospitality experiences across race days, Royal Ascot, conferences, and major events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong stock control experience, a passion for hospitality operations, and the ability to lead from the front in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

As Hospitality & Boxes Cellar Supervisor, you’ll support the delivery of exceptional beverage operations across Fine Dining, Hospitality, and Private Boxes. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a busy operational environment and enjoys working as part of a high-performing team.

What You'll Do:

  • Supervising day-to-day cellar operations across Hospitality & Boxes
  • Managing stock control, reconciliation, and transfer processes with accuracy and accountability
  • Supporting the delivery of financial targets including wastage reduction and stock margin performance
  • Building and delivering race-day PAR stock levels across all hospitality areas
  • Ensuring secure management of all beverage stock, including client-owned stock
  • Leading, training, and motivating casual cellar support teams
  • Supporting Royal Ascot and major event readiness
  • Monitoring labour deployment to ensure operational efficiency
  • Maintaining excellent Health & Safety standards, cellar compliance, and safe working practices
  • Supporting stock takes, race-day reconciliation, and operational reporting
  • Working collaboratively with hospitality teams, operators, and senior management to deliver seamless service excellence

What You Bring:

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a high-volume warehouse, cellar, or beverage environment
  • Strong stock control and stock reconciliation experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and stock systems
  • Strong understanding of wines, spirits, beers, and cellar operations
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

  • WSET Level 1 or 2 qualification
  • Experience within hospitality, events, or stadia environments
  • Personal Licence knowledge
  • Forklift licence
  • Full clean driving licence
