Job Description:
The Colonnades at the Signet Library are currently looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team. We seek a passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated individual. You will be part of a small yet strong team providing friendly yet professional service in a beautiful Georgian setting. Located in the heart of Edinburgh\’s Old Town, Colonnades at the Signet Library is the perfect place for \’Edinburgh\’s Finest Afternoon Tea\’.
- Assist the kitchen team with daily preparation and mise-en-place for service.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods across various sections.
- Prepare savoury and sweet items to a high standard.
- Help unload and store deliveries, maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspaces.
- Be organized and adaptable to support all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Work well as part of a team, multitask, and meet specific time frames.
- Follow recipes and specifications to ensure quality, and contribute to new recipes and product development.
- Hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.
