About the Role: Sodexo is seeking a reliable and conscientious Cleaning Operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at a large-scale manufacturing site. This role is essential in supporting safe, compliant, and efficient operations across production, operational, and staff areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness within assigned areas by following all relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Clean production, industrial, operational, and welfare areas in line with site and client requirements
- Carry out regular checks of cleaning equipment and machinery during the working day, reporting any faults or defects to the supervisor
- Adhere to all internal operating procedures, company policies, and statutory regulations
- Actively participate in the Company Health and Safety Policy, reporting hazards, risks, or GMP-related concerns to the supervisor
- Work proactively to support the Sodexo Facilities Management team, anticipating requirements and delivering a positive, can-do approach
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Mars associates, colleagues, supervisors, suppliers, and customers
- Liaise daily with other members of the cleaning team and wider site staff to ensure consistent service delivery
- Attend all required training sessions and continuously develop relevant knowledge and skills
