We’re looking for a motivated Offshore Steward (Grade A) to join our team onboard the BW Catcher FPSO in the North Sea. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and hospitality in the living quarters and catering areas offshore.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver housekeeping and cleaning services to agreed standards, ensuring a safe, hygienic environment.
- Maintain accommodation areas, kitchens, mess rooms, and equipment in line with company procedures.
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks— including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and laundry duties.
- Support catering operations by assisting with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining galley supplies.
- Manage pot wash and assist with container unloading as required.
- Participate in deep cleaning programmes and routine inspections.
- Report maintenance issues, defects, and health & safety incidents promptly.
- Comply fully with the Health & Safety at Work Act and company safety systems.
- Embrace ongoing training, development, and safety initiatives.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid offshore certification, including BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training), MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training), Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) Medical Certificate (Optio), First Aid Certificate.
- Willingness to complete Norwegian Escape Chute Training.
- Experience in catering, hospitality, or customer service (offshore experience desirable but not essential).
- A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork.
- Health & Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
