Job Introduction
As a Mobile Catering Supervisor with Sodexo, you\'ll oversee catering operations across multiple Approved Premises (APs) approximately 25 sites within the Yorkshire and Humber region. Your role involves supervising catering teams, ensuring high standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service to create safe, welcoming environments.
This position requires regular interaction with your teams and clients, demanding strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Your work will support the quality of life for residents and staff within these premises.
Approved Premises are vital in the effective reintegration of individuals released from prison, providing supervision, monitoring, and support within a community setting. This role offers valuable experience working in residential environments with complex and vulnerable individuals, enhancing your understanding of the Criminal Justice System.
What you\'ll do:
- Ensure the completion of all contracted catering tasks, motivating your team to deliver quality service promptly and efficiently.
- Use the company vehicle and fuel card to visit different sites and support your team in carrying out scheduled catering duties.
- Take responsibility for ensuring your team’s tasks are completed within specified timescales.
- Review the impact of your team’s work on each site, providing leadership that encourages positive client feedback.
- Oversee stock management, including ordering and recording consumables like food, cleaning supplies, and equipment for compliance.
- Champion health and safety practices; report near misses and hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety walks to identify and address hazards.
- Hold regular feedback sessions with your team to ensure confidence and job satisfaction.
