Location: Wythenshawe Hospital, Southmoor Road, Wythenshawe, M23 9LT
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Hours: 40 Hours per week / 5 days over 7 between Monday and Sunday
What You'll Do:
- Carry out formal meetings and investigations with staff for disciplinary issues.
- Work with the Facilities Matron on any issues specifically relating to Portering/Helpdesk services.
- Work with the Health and Safety Advisor on safeguarding issues specifically relating to Portering/Helpdesk services such as risk assessments, COSHH.
- Analyse and review productivity reports and implement changes in order to maximise efficiencies within the department.
- Ensure payroll procedures are carried out correctly to ensure the accurate and timely payment of all staff, and deal with payroll queries and errors as a priority liaising directly with payroll as appropriate.
- Analyse data to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements within the service.
- Maintain staffing levels in line with service requirements.
- Establish good working relationships with the client – attend meetings and complete checks as requested.
What You Bring:
- Proficient IT user (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- A confident and adept communicator, with the ability to operate effectively at all levels.
- Leadership experience in Portering or Logistics services, facilities management, leisure, retail sectors (or related), ideally with exposure to the healthcare market.
- An experienced supervisor/manager and developer of teams, who is effective in directing others.
