As a Casual Reception & Cleaning Assistant with Sodexo, you will enhance the services of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless facilities operations and keep things running smoothly.
What you will do:
- Deliver high-quality cleaning across all areas, following daily, weekly and monthly schedules.
- Maintain safe working practices, including correct use of PPE, colour-coding, and safety checks.
- Keep cleaning cupboards stocked, organised and compliant.
- Engage positively with clients, colleagues and site users.
- Manage reception duties including visitor logging, site access, parcel handling and maintaining tidy reception/meeting spaces.
- Ensure good timekeeping and provide a friendly, efficient welcome to all visitors and contractors.
- Follow all Sodexo and client policies, including Health & Safety, Security and COSHH.
- Report any issues, incidents or defects promptly to the supervisor/GSM.
- Support team meetings, collaborate with colleagues and work flexibly when required.
- Maintain accurate records for both cleaning and reception activities.
- Ensure the reception area is secure when leaving the desk.
What you will bring:
- Previous all-round cleaning experience and high personal hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own time and take initiative.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional manner.
- Basic IT competency (MS Office, Teams, Excel, Outlook).
