What you’ll do:
- Ensure a clean and compliant environment within the facilities of the GMP assets, in line with GMP requirements and delivered to the highest level of cleanliness.
- Manage a housekeeping team that services general areas, offices, laboratories and a GMP cleaning service.
- Supervise day‑to‑day cleaning, general waste removal, recycling and deep cleans in a GMP environment.
- Lead a team of night workers across the GMP areas.
- Complete and ensure required cleaning tasks in accordance with SOPs and requests via the service manager.
- Ensure all documentation is correctly completed within agreed time scales.
- Seek and identify opportunities for business growth within your work area.
- Deliver prompt, efficient service at specified times to meet KPI standards.
- Walk the floor during cleaning tasks to identify and rectify issues, and conduct GMP training for all staff.
- Ensure sterile stock and plant pyjamas are stocked to necessary levels for night and morning shifts.
- Attend or carry out team board meetings in the absence of the Customer Service Manager.
- Comply with all company and client policies, site rules and statutory regulations for Health & Safety, safety practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
