Package Description

• £13.20 per hour
• Shift work pattern: 2 early, 2 late, 2 off (4 on, 2 off)
• Shift: Early 500-1400, Late 1330-2230
• Many employee benefits, rewards and recognition.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
• Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
• Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
• Maintaining a clean work area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Keeping the bar stocked by replacing empty bottles and kegs of beer.

Additional Responsibilities

• To attend health and safety and food safety training courses as required.
• To ensure all products stored/displayed are date coded, stock rotated & labelled correctly.
• Using the shelf-life rule.
• To rigorously follow the unit cleaning schedules.
• To attend to any reasonable request made by the client or Sodexo Management.
• To assist the Management with stock take when required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous Bartending experience is essential
• Engaging and friendly personality
• Self-motivated attitude
• Confident working in a team
• Excellent customer service skills
• Great Team player
• Flexibility in regards to work availability
