We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Food Service Assistant to join our team at Scottish Fire and Rescue Headquarters and National Training Centre, Cambuslang G72 7NA. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of efficient and high-quality food services, creating a positive experience for everyone.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that food and beverages are served to a high standard.
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of meals, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the food service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- Help with the safe storage of food items and adhere to the rotation of stock.
- Take customer orders, process payments, and support any special dietary requirements.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down food service stations, ensuring an efficient service operation.
- Follow all health and safety regulations in line with Sodexo's policies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
