Sodexo Live! is seeking a proactive and organised Kitchen Administrator to support our fast-paced culinary operation at Ascot Racecourse. Working closely with the Executive Head Chef and culinary leadership team, you’ll take ownership of key administrative processes across staffing, labour planning, allergen information, food safety documentation and event preparation. This is a varied and important role, helping to ensure our kitchens are fully organised, compliant and ready to deliver outstanding experiences for guests, while also supporting the coordination and administration of our casual culinary workforce. A background in food or hospitality administration would be highly beneficial, particularly with knowledge of allergens, health and safety, and food safety processes.
What You'll Do
- Manage culinary staffing rosters and labour plans for all events
- Coordinate chef bookings across agency, casual and self-employed labour
- Support payroll administration including timesheets, expenses and deductions
- Raise purchase orders and manage invoice and goods receipt processes
- Maintain accurate allergen, menu and food labelling documentation
- Support health and safety compliance across the culinary operation
- Prepare and distribute chef briefings, welcome packs and event paperwork
- Help coordinate staffing and administration for major events, including Royal Ascot
What You Bring
- Professional presentation and conduct to be able to interact with customers, clients and peers
- Microsoft Office competency, with knowledge of Excel
- High level attention to detail
- Excellent communicator
- Demonstrate an organised and analytical mind
- Clean Driving License (preferable but not essential)
