Sodexo is seeking an experienced Senior Cleaning Supervisor to lead cleaning operations at the Mars Pet Care site in Castle Cary. This role is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning activities, supervising teams, maintaining compliance standards, and ensuring high levels of service delivery across the site. The position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage operational priorities within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning teams to ensure all tasks are completed to agreed standards.
- Plan and allocate daily workloads, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across office, welfare, and industrial areas.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, COSHH, risk assessments, and site procedures.
- Carry out quality checks, audits, and inspections, addressing issues promptly.
- Complete and review schedules, timesheets, and operational documentation.
- Support performance management, training, and development of cleaning staff.
- Act as a key point of contact for site stakeholders and management.
- Respond to reactive cleaning requirements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
