Join Sodexo in Cambridge as a Catering Assistant, where you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service through the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages to both client and Sodexo standards. You will be expected to lead by example through your behaviour and personal presentation, contributing positively to the team and overall service experience. A strong focus on health & safety is essential, with full adherence to all procedures and active support of our goal zero mindset to maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and customers.
What You'll Do
- Assist with the setup, service, clearing, and cleaning of function catering as required
- Support special functions and occasional duties outside normal routines, including overtime where applicable
- Report all complaints, compliments, incidents, accidents, or hazards promptly and take appropriate action where possible
- Respond to reasonable requests from supervisors, managers, and chefs to support smooth kitchen and catering operations
- Attend meetings and training sessions, including health & safety and food hygiene, to maintain company and client standards
