As a Barista at Sodexo, you’ll craft exceptional coffee and serve delicious food from our diverse menu—think cakes, sandwiches, wraps, paninis, and toasties. Located at Royal Stoke Hospital, you’ll help create a welcoming environment that eases the stress of hospital visits by offering warm hospitality and friendly, professional conversations with patients, staff, and visitors alike.
What you’ll do:
- Keep your workspace clean, organised, and in line with food safety and hygiene standards
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and related equipment
- Support preparation of retail/ food produce for daily service
- Provide excellent customer service while handling transactions at the till
- Follow Sodexo’s cash-handling policies to ensure security and accuracy
- Maintain allergen safety/ knowledge at all times, ensuring guest safety
What you bring:
- A friendly attitude, strong communication skills, and a great team spirit
- Experience with espresso machines or a willingness to learn barista skills and food prep
- Confidence using a cash register or EPOS system
- A passion for creating a clean, safe, and positive environment
- Able to work effectively as a team
