Are you a results-driven, ambitious sales professional with a passion for live events and hospitality? Sodexo Live! is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead and grow our Conferences & Events (C&E) business at Nottingham Forest Football Club.
In this role, you’ll drive revenue, win new business, and inspire a high-performing sales team. Develop and implement the site’s C&E sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of high performance, teamwork, and innovation.
- Proactively sell and promote our conference and banqueting facilities to new and existing clients.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and develop key accounts to increase market share.
- Collaborate with the wider Sodexo PV&E team and Head of Sales – Stadia to maximise business opportunities.
- Support and develop the onsite sales team, boosting engagement, motivation, and results.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor reviews, and customer research to identify trends and new opportunities.
- Ensure flawless customer experiences, from first enquiry through to event delivery.
Proven track record of proactive sales success, ideally in venue or hospitality environments. Strong commercial acumen with a history of achieving targets in a highly competitive market. Experienced in budget management, sales forecasting, and performance measurement. Confident communicator with exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Local market knowledge and a keen understanding of the live events sector.
