We’re looking for an organised, energetic and forward-thinking leader to take charge of our Meetings & Events operation, ensuring seamless execution of corporate functions, conferences, celebrations and bespoke hospitality experiences throughout the year.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, inspire and develop the Meetings & Events team to deliver exceptional service standards across all event spaces.
- Oversee planning, set-up, and execution of a wide range of events, ensuring every detail meets client expectations and Sodexo standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, sales, and catering teams to create bespoke experiences.
- Drive event profitability by managing labour, food & beverage costs, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety, food safety, and company procedures across the venue.
- Own key events from start to finish, handling client feedback and delivering continual service improvements.
What You Bring:
Essential
- Experience of managing a large operation with high volume meetings and events business.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills essential; ability to recruit, train, manage and motivate the workforce.
- Experience managing front of house teams, delivering a variety of concepts and service styles.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Desirable:
- Experience working within a sports and leisure/stadia.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent.
- Food Safety Level 3 qualification of equivalent.
