We’re looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team at St James’ Park, home to Newcastle United F.C. Lead and inspire the kitchen team during service, ensuring high-quality food, presentation, and consistency.

Collaborate with the Head Chef and Executive Head Chef to develop menus, introduce innovative dishes, and elevate the food offer. Oversee kitchen operations, including stock management, food cost control, and compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards. Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs, ensuring all team members meet Sodexo standards.

Experience in high-volume environments, large-scale banqueting, or major event catering. Strong fine-dining background from hotels, restaurants, or contract catering. Passion for food, innovation, and staying up-to-date with industry trends. Financial awareness and ability to manage food costs and margins effectively. Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification (Supervising Food Safety Level 3 desirable).
