What you’ll do:
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
- Wash and sanitise crockery, cutlery, utensils, and cookware to the highest standards.
- Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure it’s cleaned and maintained daily.
- Support basic food preparation tasks under the direction of the chef or catering manager (e.g. salad prep, sandwich making, or setting up service areas).
- Handle deliveries, checking goods in and ensuring correct storage of food and non-food items.
- Manage waste and recycling responsibly in line with Sodexo's sustainability procedures.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules and complete related documentation.
- Refill condiments, beverages, and service items as needed in dining and kitchen areas.
- Ensure compliance with all Sodexo and client Health and Safety regulations.
