Sodexo is seeking a professional and reliable Chef to join our catering team at Johnson & Johnson’s Pinewood Campus on a 5-month fixed-term contract. This role supports the delivery of high-quality food services within a busy corporate environment, preparing and serving meals to a consistent standard while maintaining full compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company procedures. You will work as part of a collaborative kitchen team and provide cover in the absence of the Head Chef where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch dishes in line with menu specifications and required standards
- Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and portion control
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergen awareness, and health and safety regulations
- Support day-to-day kitchen operations, including food service, hospitality, and customer interaction
- Assist with cleaning duties, including pot wash, equipment cleaning, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
- Contribute to the setup and service of hospitality and coffee station (Costa) in line with site procedures
- Support deliveries, stock rotation, and storage, ensuring accurate recording where required
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and in accordance with training
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
- Undertake additional duties as required to support the smooth running of the service

- Previous experience in a food preparation or catering environment is desirable
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergen requirements
- Ability to work to established procedures and maintain high standards
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
- Flexible and team-focused approach
- Willingness to undertake training and develop within the role
