We are currently looking for Experienced Waiter to join our team at The Royal Academy of Arts (Members only area), London to deliver a world class guest experience. Our Cafés and Restaurants are located amongst inspiring and breathtaking masterpieces within Burlington House.
As a Waiter in a premium members-only venue, you are responsible for delivering attentive, courteous, and personalised table service that enhances the overall guest experience. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will ensure guests receive prompt, professional service while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and hospitality.
What you'll do
- Guest Service Excellence
- Greet and seat members and guests warmly and professionally.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, making knowledgeable recommendations.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to special requests with discretion.
- Teamwork & Communication
- Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and other FOH colleagues to ensure smooth service flow.
- Participate in pre-service briefings and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
- Maintain clear and polite communication with members and team members alike.
- Operational Standards
- Set and clear tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.
- Follow all hygiene, health, and safety protocols diligently.
- Assist with side work such as polishing cutlery, refilling condiments, and restocking supplies.
What you'll bring
- At least 2 years of experience in a waiter role, preferably in a premium hospitality or fine dining setting.
