We are seeking a qualified and professional Electrician to join our Technical Services team at our client site in Swindon. This is a varied and hands-on role, responsible for delivering planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance across electrical systems, building services, and site infrastructure. You will work as part of a small team of two electricians, collaborating closely with wider technical and engineering teams to support the safe and efficient operation of the site. This role is well suited to an individual who demonstrates a proactive and professional approach, with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards and contributing positively to team performance.

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs to plant, equipment, and building services
  • Support mechanical and fabric maintenance tasks where required
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time allocation
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations, safe systems of work, and site procedures
  • Assist and oversee third-party contractors when required
  • Report maintenance issues, risks, or potential service disruptions promptly
  • Work collaboratively with the wider technical team to support overall site operations
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and client service at all times

What you’ll bring:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382)
  • Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391/2395 or equivalent)
  • Experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role
  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations and safe systems of work
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A professional, proactive approach with a strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills

Desirable:

  • PAT Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2377)
  • ECS Gold Card or IPAF certification
