Sodexo Healthcare is seeking a proactive and detail-driven professional to join our Hard FM Estates team at Royal Stoke University Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a safe, compliant, and high-quality maintenance service within a busy healthcare environment. Supporting day-to-day estates operations, you will help ensure all planned and reactive maintenance activities are effectively managed through our CAFM system, while maintaining accurate records, monitoring contractor performance, and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with the Estates leadership team, you will contribute to achieving operational excellence, compliance with statutory requirements, and the ongoing enhancement of service delivery across the site.
What You'll Do
- Support the Senior Management Team in delivering 5-year, annual, and monthly maintenance plans
- Deputise for the Compliance Manager and support overall contract compliance
- Lead on training, authorisation, and development of Competent Persons and team members
- Ensure full compliance with Project Agreement, HTM, statutory and legislative requirements
- Oversee both planned preventative and reactive maintenance services, including out-of-hours support
- Monitor performance, response times, and KPIs to maintain contractual and commercial compliance
- Manage CAFM system usage, asset records, reporting, and performance data analysis
- Build strong stakeholder relationships while providing technical advice and supporting operational delivery
What You Bring
- Proven experience in a similar engineering or Hard FM role, ideally within a complex environment
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a logical and methodical approach
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety at Work regulations
- Excellent communication, report writing, and a good level of mathematical skills
- IT literate, with experience or understanding of CAFM, BMS, or similar systems
- Desirable: experience in healthcare estates, SharePoint/CAFM systems, and asset or contractor management
