Join Sodexo as a Cleaning Operative at Mars Wrigley in Slough, where you'll play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the GMP manufacturing area.
Working to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and established procedures, you'll help ensure the factory environment meets the required hygiene, food safety, health and safety standards.
You'll need a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach and a willingness to follow stringent procedures and timelines. Full training will be provided to help you understand the required processes and responsibilities.
What you'll do
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness within your assigned areas
- Follow relevant work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Carry out regular checks of cleaning equipment and machinery and report any faults or defects
- Follow GMP, hygiene, food safety and Health & Safety procedures
- Report hazards and potential dangers to your supervisor
- Follow internal operating procedures and strict GMP requirements
- Work effectively with Mars associates, colleagues, supervisors and suppliers
- Attend training sessions and develop your knowledge and skills
- Communicate daily with members of the cleaning team, other staff and customers
- Work proactively to support the wider Sodexo Facilities Management team
- Ensure company, client and statutory requirements are followed
- Use PPE as directed and in line with working instructions and procedures
- Work towards agreed targets and standards
