At Sodexo, we’re looking for a Cleaner to join our friendly team at Larkhill.
You’ll play an important role in keeping our offices, accommodation and surrounding areas clean, safe and welcoming for everyone who uses them. You’ll take pride in creating spaces that people can enjoy and feel comfortable in, while working as part of a supportive team.
If you’re reliable, take pride in your work and enjoy making a difference through the work you do, we’d love to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to join a team where your hard work is valued and every day brings something different.
What you’ll do:
- Carry out a range of scheduled cleaning tasks across offices, accommodation and surrounding areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a consistently high standard.
- Complete daily, weekly and periodic cleaning duties, taking pride in creating clean, safe and welcoming environments.
- Make and change beds when required, support laundry duties and help keep accommodation areas clean, tidy and well presented.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish essential supplies such as soap, paper towels and toilet rolls, while ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are stored safely and correctly.
- Work as part of a supportive team, communicating with colleagues and your supervisor about any issues, defects or additional cleaning requirements.
- Follow all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures, using cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely and responsibly.
- Report any hazards, damage or maintenance issues promptly to help maintain a safe environment for everyone.
What you bring:
- Previous cleaning experience is an advantage, but not essential — we’ll provide a full induction and training to help you get started.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and professional approach when working with colleagues and customers.
- A flexible and positive attitude, with the ability to adapt to different tasks and priorities while maintaining high standards.
- Good attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean, tidy, safe and well presented.
- A reliable team player who can follow instructions, work independently when required and support colleagues to get the job done.
What we offer:
Working with Sodexo is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to be part of a team where your work has a genuine purpose. You'll be supported by your colleagues, have access to a range of employee benefits and have opportunities to develop your career within a large organisation.
In addition, we offer:
- Mental health & wellbeing support
- Employee Assistance Programme providing personal, legal, and financial advice
- 24/7 virtual GP access and lifestyle rewards
- Discounts for you and your family
- Financial wellbeing tools and retirement plan
- Cycle to Work scheme
- Paid volunteering day
Join Sodexo as a Cleaner and become part of a friendly team helping to keep our Ministry of Defence site clean, safe and welcoming.
