This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Support the Domestic Manager in leading a team of around 200 staff.
- Ensure compliance with National Specifications for Cleanliness and Trust policies.
- Deliver training and guidance to domestic assistants and supervisors.
- Drive high standards of hygiene and customer service across all areas.
- Monitor performance, implement improvements, and champion best practices.
- Contribute to achieving KPIs, budget targets, and patient satisfaction goals.
Qualifications
- Recognized cleaning qualification (BICS, NVQ or equivalent).
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing large teams in a healthcare or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to deliver practical training and manage change effectively.
