What you'll do:
- Provide a professional cleaning service across all areas specified by the Supervisor/Manager
- Brighten office, public, washroom and ancillary spaces
- Clean baths, sinks, showers and toilets daily to the highest standards
- Service areas following customer departure, complete room inventories and report any damage or deficiencies immediately
- Dust, polish and clean furniture, mirrors, windows, paintwork and brass work as per schedule
- Undertake periodic deep cleaning as directed
- Ensure safety signage (e.g. wet floor signs) is always used appropriately
- Follow Company Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Comply with COSHH regulations and ensure safe, economical use of cleaning chemicals
- Report defective equipment and communicate cleaning material requirements
- Maintain a professional appearance, wearing uniform and safety shoes provided
- Support colleagues and assist with departmental duties when required
What you'll bring:
- Experience in a similar cleaning role within the service industry (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety practices, including HSWA and COSHH regulations
- Understanding of cleaning specifications for different surface types
- Experience using industrial cleaning equipment (training can be provided)
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both spoken and written
- A commitment to maintaining high professional standards
