Location – Crown, Peterborough | Part Time
As a Weekend Chef with Sodexo at Crown, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality catering services within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll support the day-to-day catering operation while ensuring excellent food quality, hygiene standards, and customer service.
Part time position: 8.5 hours per week, Saturday 07:30am – 12:00pm and Sunday 08:00am – 12:00pm.

What you’ll do:
- Prepare, cook, and serve food to a high standard
- Complete pre and post service checks to ensure smooth daily operations
- Support menu planning and food production, including dietary requirements and allergen awareness
- Deliver excellent customer service to site employees and visitors
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping
- Process sales and operate cash registers accurately and efficiently
- Complete cash handling and end‑of‑day cashing up procedures
- Support compliance with health & safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
- Work closely with site management to ensure tasks are completed within agreed timeframes
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience within a similar catering or chef role
- Food Safety Level 2 qualification preferred
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and allergen awareness
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- A proactive and positive attitude within a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Own transport would be beneficial due to site location and shift times
