Operational excellence begins with you. As a Cleaning Operative with Sodexo at Crown, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site. You'll help ensure high standards of cleanliness while delivering excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out routine cleaning duties in accordance with work schedules
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout your designated areas
  • Empty waste bins and dispose of waste appropriately
  • Replenish consumables including soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
  • Use cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals safely and in accordance with COSHH guidelines
  • Display safety signage and wear appropriate PPE when carrying out cleaning activities
  • Respond to ad-hoc cleaning requests as required
  • Report health & safety concerns, maintenance issues, accidents, or near misses promptly
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and client employees to deliver an excellent service

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A positive, professional, and flexible attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Basic literacy and ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Understanding of health & safety responsibilities within the workplace
  • Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties, including moving light equipment and prolonged periods of activity
