What you’ll do:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails to a high standard in line with venue recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail during busy matchday service.
- Create a premium guest experience through knowledgeable and engaging cocktail service.
- Ensure cocktail stations are fully stocked with spirits, mixers, syrups, garnishes, ice, and glassware before and during service.
- Maintain consistency in cocktail quality, measurements, and presentation standards across all service periods.
- Recommend cocktails, spirits, and premium drink options to guests to enhance the hospitality experience.
- Operate bar equipment safely and efficiently, including shakers, blenders, and dispensing systems.
- Monitor stock levels of cocktail ingredients and communicate shortages to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all licensing laws, including Challenge 25 and responsible alcohol service procedures.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organisation of cocktail bars, prep areas, and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and hospitality staff to deliver smooth and efficient service.
- Handle high-volume orders while maintaining composure and service quality in a fast-paced stadium environment.
- Support the setup and breakdown of cocktail bars for matchdays and special events.
- Ensure all health, safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures are followed at all times.
- Stay up to date with current cocktail trends, drink pairings, and premium beverage knowledge where possible.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience as a cocktail bartender or mixologist in a busy bar, hospitality, or events environment.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, mixers, garnishes, and drink presentation techniques.
- Passion for cocktail creation and delivering a premium guest experience.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining high drink quality during busy matchday service.
- Confident using cocktail-making equipment and following recipes consistently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a friendly and professional approach.
- Comfortable engaging with guests and recommending cocktails, spirits, and premium drink options.
- Able to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced, high-pressure stadium environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues across the wider bar and hospitality operation.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and large-scale events.
- Good understanding of licensing laws, responsible alcohol service, and Challenge 25 procedures.
