Mobile cleaning supervisor position covering various Approved Premises around the East Midlands region

6am-2pm typically but change to suit business needs
£12.71 per hour
Driving licence required
Company van and fuel card provided

As a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo, you’ll oversee cleaning operations across multiple Approved Premises (APs) circa 25 sites, including AP & Offices within the East Midlands region. You\’ll be responsible for supervising teams across several sites, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained to create safe, healthy environments.

This role involves regular interaction with your cleaning teams and clients, requiring strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Your contribution will directly support the quality of life for those living and working within these premises.

Approved Premises play a key role in the effective reintegration of individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision, monitoring, and support within a community setting. This position offers valuable experience working in residential environments with complex and vulnerable individuals, deepening your understanding of the Criminal Justice System.

What you’ll do:

Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks and motivate your team to complete these effectively, in a timely manner.
You’ll be provided a company vehicle along with a fuel card to visit different sites and assist your team in carrying out scheduled cleaning tasks.
This role involves a lot of responsibility to ensure your and your team’s tasks are carried out within the given timescales.
Use your own initiative to review the impact your team has on each site, with your leadership paving the way for successful client feedback.
Oversee the ordering of stock and consumables such as toilet tissue, cleaning products, and appliances, maintaining records for compliance.
Be a champion of health and safety practices—spot a near miss? Report it to keep colleagues safe!
Ensure regular safety walks are completed to identify hazards.
Conduct frequent feedback sessions with your team to ensure they are confident and satisfied in their roles.

What you bring:

Full UK driving license
Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses, as well as some team leading experience, is desirable.
Excellent customer service and communication skills
The ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
Be a team player and take instructions well
