Pay: ÂŁ15.88 - ÂŁ17.91 (inclusive of weekly RRP where applicable) depending on experience.
Contract: Permanent, full-time (Mon–Fri) with rota/on‑call participation.
We’re hiring multiple roles — Maintenance Electrician, Electrician and Maintenance Engineer (Multi‑Skilled) — to help keep a safety‑critical healthcare estate running to the highest standards across Oxford Road Campus and Wythenshawe Hospital. You’ll deliver planned and reactive maintenance to plant, systems and essential services in live clinical and non‑clinical environments, making a direct impact while developing your career with a global FM leader. With PPE, tools, and ongoing training provided, you’ll join an inclusive team focused on high‑quality Hard FM delivery.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance, small works/installs, testing and statutory compliance across electrical and/or mechanical systems (e.g., power and lighting, distribution, emergency lighting, nurse call, doors/access, motors, pumps, ventilation/HVAC, controls, BMS).
- Fault‑find, diagnose and repair safely under permits/SSoW, completing documentation on PDA/CAFM.
- Act as Competent Person (training provided) and support audits, isolations and compliance tasks (e.g., BS 7671 and HTM/HBN environments).
- Participate in on‑call/15‑minute response and occasional out‑of‑hours works to maintain service continuity.
What You Bring:
- Electricians: Level 3 (CG/NVQ or equivalent) along with 18th Edition; 2391 desirable; estates/FM or safety‑critical experience.
- Maintenance Engineers (Multi‑Skilled): solid electrical and/or mechanical background (heating/chilled/ventilation, pumps, plant, BMS), PPM/reactive in complex estates; comfortable working to permits and Health and Safety.
- Confident using PDA/CAFM, communicating with clinical teams, and working in live hospital areas with strong customer focus.
