About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business/Catering Manager to lead and develop our hospitality and catering services at Stryker Springhill and Innovation Centre. This is a hands‑on leadership role, responsible for driving performance, growth, and profitability across multiple service offers including the kitchen, onsite restaurants, hospitality events, and vending services. You will play a key role in ensuring that our services are delivered to the highest standards, exceeding client and customer expectations while maintaining operational excellence, compliance, and financial control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all commercial service functions including catering, hospitality, and vending operations.
  • Monitor performance across service areas, driving continuous improvement and business growth.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, including P&L statements, reconciliations, and forecasts.
  • Manage client billing, attend monthly finance reviews, and support budgetary control.
  • Ensure all operations comply with Sodexo policies, food safety standards, and legal requirements.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members, maintaining a positive and motivated workforce.
  • Oversee staff rotas, resource planning, and adherence to labour budgets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through a proactive and engaging approach.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Promote a strong sales culture and identify opportunities to enhance service quality and profitability.

About You

You will be a dynamic, results-focused manager with a strong background in hospitality, catering, or business management. You’ll combine operational expertise with financial acumen and people leadership skills, ensuring service excellence across all areas.
