We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our Facilities Management team at King’s College Hospital. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of engineering and building services across a busy, high-profile healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational management of building and engineering services.
- Manage engineering teams, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, HTM, and Project Agreement requirements.
- Oversee planned preventative and reactive maintenance services.
- Act as Authorised Person for key hospital systems.
- Support lifecycle projects, energy strategies, and sustainability initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships with NHS Trust staff, Sodexo representatives, and stakeholders.

- Strong background in engineering, building services, and plant maintenance.
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering against SLAs.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and statutory compliance.
