Contract: Permanent – Full Time 37.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm with flexibility

About the role

We are seeking a highly professional and customer-focused Hospitality Assistant to join the London offices of Sidley Austin, a leading international law firm. This is a fully on-site role responsible for delivering first-class hospitality services, supporting meeting room operations, and ensuring clients, visitors, and colleagues receive an exceptional experience within a fast-paced corporate environment. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards across hospitality areas, coordinating meeting room setups, and responding promptly and professionally to hospitality requests.

Previous corporate hospitality experience is essential, ideally gained within a law firm, professional services firm, financial institution, or corporate headquarters. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of professional client-facing service standards and the ability to operate within a fast-paced corporate environment. The successful candidate will be exceptionally well-presented, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an outstanding client experience at all times.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver exceptional hospitality services to clients, visitors, and colleagues, ensuring meeting rooms and hospitality areas are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate catering requirements, manage hospitality bookings, and respond promptly to ad-hoc and last-minute requests.
  • Monitor hospitality supplies, place orders, manage deliveries, and maintain accurate records in line with food safety and health & safety requirements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for hospitality-related enquiries and support the delivery of corporate meetings, events, and wider client-facing services as required.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience within a corporate hospitality environment is essential, ideally within a law firm, professional services, financial services, or corporate office setting.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional, polished, and client-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with confidence using Microsoft Office applications and maintaining high service standards under pressure.
