About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our on-site Technical Services team at a prestigious corporate headquarters in central London. This is a hands-on role within a static site environment, delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works to ensure the safe, reliable and fully compliant operation of all electrical systems and critical power infrastructure.
Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor, you will provide high-quality electrical maintenance and fault-finding support across the site, working independently and alongside other engineers and approved subcontractors. The role operates within a high-profile, business-critical environment where electrical uptime, safety and compliance are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical works in line with SFG20, OEM guidance and statutory requirements
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across building services and client systems
- Support statutory inspections and testing including EICRs, emergency lighting and PAT
- Maintain and operate LV distribution systems, essential circuits, UPS and generator-backed supplies
- Ensure strict compliance with Safe Systems of Work, including RAMS, LOTO, permits and isolations
- Assist with contractor supervision and ensure works are completed safely and to required standards
- Accurately record all works undertaken within the site CMMS (e.g. Archibus)
- Escalate risks, failures or compliance concerns to the Technical Services Supervisor
- Participate in emergency and escalation response, including out-of-hours support when required
- Maintain professional standards and represent the organisation positively on site
- Support continuous improvement, energy efficiency and resilience initiatives
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Work in full compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations, BS7671 and Sodexo Global Engineering Standards
- Follow site permit, isolation and LOTO procedures at all times
- Maintain all required competencies, training and certifications
Key Accountabilities
- Safe and compliant delivery of electrical maintenance activities

- Accurate documentation and CMMS updates

About You
You are a qualified electrician with strong fault-finding skills and experience working in commercial or facilities management environments. You are organised, safety-focused and comfortable working independently within a structured maintenance setting.
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or similar
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Proven experience in commercial building services or FM environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical fault-finding and maintenance practices
- Understanding of health & safety systems including permits, isolations and LOTO
- IT literacy with experience using CMMS and Microsoft Office
