Job Introduction
We are searching for someone who can join our team at Sodexo at one of the most prestigious schools in Scotland - Strathallan School in Perthshire as a Live in Chef. Our chefs at Sodexo are talented, motivated, ambitious, and creative. You will assist in the preparation of food to ensure the prompt and efficient delivery of service to the company and client’s standards whilst maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the unit to comply with company procedures.

What you do
- Ensure all food is prepared & served with due care and attention, particularly in regards to special dietary requirements, allergens and shelf life.
- Promote a friendly working relationship with colleagues.
- Undertake training as required and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Complete any administration as requested including food temperatures, cleaning schedules, delivery temperatures, stock takes, etc.
- Ensure the kitchen is maintained in a clean, organised manner and all food safety and health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Work at school events, as required, with occasional evening and weekend work.
- Assist with preparation, service and clearing of function catering as required.
