Food Service Assistant/Cleaner in Limavady

What you’ll do:

• Assist with the preparation, presentation, and service of food to company and client standards
• Deliver friendly, efficient customer service, creating a welcoming dining environment
• Carry out cashier and till duties accurately and responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness of dining, kitchen, and back-of-house areas in line with cleaning schedules
• Complete routine and deep cleaning tasks including floors, surfaces, washrooms, equipment, and waste areas
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely in line with COSHH and site procedures
• Support food service setup, replenishment, and stock rotation using FIFO principles
• Monitor and record food safety controls including temperatures and hygiene checks in line with HACCP and Food Safety legislation
• Comply with all Health & Safety, COSHH, fire, security, and site-specific procedures
• Report incidents, faults, spillages, or maintenance issues promptly and assist with corrective actions

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience in catering, food service, or commercial cleaning (preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a compliance-driven, safety-focused environment
• Good understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and safe cleaning practices
• High standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and professionalism
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and task checklists accurately
• Willingness to learn, attend training, and continuously improve standards
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
• Reliable, flexible approach to duties across both food service and cleaning tasks
