What you’ll do:

  • Support and deputise for the Head Chef, leading the kitchen in their absence
  • Assist in planning and delivering a consistent, high‑quality food offer
  • Ensure food safety and allergen standards are met and maintained
  • Provide mentoring and direction to junior kitchen staff
  • Contribute to menu planning, stock control, and kitchen efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times

What you bring:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
  • Trained to Sous Chef level or above
  • Strong leadership skills and a hands‑on approach
  • High standards of food preparation and presentation
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures

Desirable qualifications:

  • NVQ, SVQ in professional cookery, City & Guilds or diploma
