What you’ll do:
- Support and deputise for the Head Chef, leading the kitchen in their absence
- Assist in planning and delivering a consistent, high‑quality food offer
- Ensure food safety and allergen standards are met and maintained
- Provide mentoring and direction to junior kitchen staff
- Contribute to menu planning, stock control, and kitchen efficiency
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
What you bring:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
- Trained to Sous Chef level or above
- Strong leadership skills and a hands‑on approach
- High standards of food preparation and presentation
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures
Desirable qualifications:
- NVQ, SVQ in professional cookery, City & Guilds or diploma
