As a Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo, you'll enhance the services of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless facilities operations and keep things running smoothly.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and deliver cleaning operations, spending approximately 70% of your time undertaking hands‑on cleaning and 30% supervising, coordinating and quality‑checking the team.
  • Supervise and develop colleagues through induction, training, coaching, performance reviews and day‑to‑day support, ensuring required competencies and standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate daily operations, including task allocation, rotas, holiday and absence cover, staffing levels and workload management to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Manage stock and resources, including ordering cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment, completing stock checks and maintaining accurate records through company systems.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance and service, ensuring Health & Safety, COSHH and company procedures are followed, responding to client issues, completing audits and reporting incidents or defects promptly.

What you'll bring:

  • Relevant Experience: Practical cleaning experience within a cleaning, facilities management or support‑services environment; supervisory experience is desirable.
  • Leadership & Communication: Ability to guide, coach and support colleagues, communicate effectively and allocate work while maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Organisation & Prioritisation: Able to plan rotas, manage absence cover, prioritise workloads and balance hands‑on cleaning with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Knowledge & IT Skills: Good understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and safe cleaning practices, with confidence using Microsoft Office and online workplace management systems.
  • Desirable Qualifications & Experience: Cleaning or facilities management qualification, IOSH Working Safely (or equivalent), experience in GMP/pharmaceutical, laboratory, healthcare or manufacturing environments, and stock control/order management.
