Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (1 weekend day in 3), 07:00 – 15:00

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef to join our catering team at Unilever Seacroft. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to deliver high-quality food services within a busy corporate environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting food to a high standard while supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure exceptional service delivery, food safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare, cook and present meals in line with company standards
  • Ensure all food is produced to the highest quality and presentation standards
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety practices
  • Support stock control, ordering and waste management procedures
  • Assist with menu preparation and service delivery
  • Work effectively as part of the catering team to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
  • Follow all operational procedures and instructions

What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 2 Culinary, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Strong culinary skills and food preparation experience
  • Ability to carry out manual tasks and work in a physically active role
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
