As a Kitchen Porter at Sodexo Royal Stoke Hospital, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly, working behind the scenes to support our chefs and ensure every dish is served to the highest standard.
What you’ll do:
- Carry out a range of kitchen porter duties in line with schedules and supervisor instructions.
- Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) legislation and standard.
- Take responsibility for personal and team health & safety, ensuring no risk to others.
- Deliver ad hoc food and equipment items to wards and clinical areas.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to support catering service delivery.
- Complete daily records and documentation accurately and on time.
- Move food trolleys and equipment safely, following procedures and escalation routes.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, infection control, and ensure equipment is properly cleaned, serviced, and operational.
