We are looking for hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porters to support our busy kitchen operations within a fast-paced hospitality and event environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency across all kitchen areas during matchdays, conferences, concerts, and premium hospitality events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes as part of a team and takes pride in maintaining high standards within the kitchen environment.
What you'll do:
- Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen and back-of-house areas
- Ensure all cleaning schedules and hygiene standards are followed
- Dispose of waste correctly and support recycling procedures where required
- Keep floors, surfaces, and workstations clean and hazard-free
- Support with kitchen setup and close-down procedures
- Ensure bins are emptied regularly and waste areas remain clean
- Follow all company food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
What you'll bring:
- Previous kitchen porter or cleaning experience desirable but not essential
- Hardworking and reliable attitude
- Ability to work well within a fast-paced team environment
- Strong understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider kitchen team
- Good communication and teamwork skills
