What You’ll Do
- Deliver exceptional customer experience by actively managing queues, following Greggs Service Styles, and achieving consistent CEV results.
- Lead and develop the team through coaching, performance management, and supporting continuous training using YGL modules.
- Ensure compliance with all Brand Standards, Food Safety, SHE principles, and operational procedures to maintain high standards.
- Maximise sales opportunities across all day parts, including product availability, upselling meal deals, and engaging with digital channels.
- Maintain shop presentation, hygiene, and safety standards, including regular audits, cleanliness, and stock management.
- Actively participate in team engagement, recognise contributions, and foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Use data reports (BI, QuDOS, and other tools) to monitor performance, manage stock, and improve shop operations.
- Support operational activities such as energy management, waste reduction, and charity donation procedures to promote sustainability and community engagement.
What You Bring
- Proven experience of leading a team within a service environment.
- Proven experience of managing operations within a catering service.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and line manager.
- Experience of delivering relevant training, using company guidelines.
- Understanding of relevant Health and Safety, Employment and other legislative requirements.
- Experience of implementation and adherence to HACCP.
- Experience dealing with branded outlets desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to standards.
- Proven IT skills.
- Ability to deal with stressful situations with a flexible approach.
- Analyse problems, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
